Good with overheat problem?

Good app, like its simplicity and that there's earphones only alarm. BUT, this app have very serious issue in overheating. Just started the timer for about 10mins and the phone starts to heat up. The battery drains really fast(97%->89%). I would like to use it as an overnight alarm and can't charge it at night. The heat is not good to the phone anyway. Please fix this as soon as possible if you can. (Well, if you can't, then, well, appreciate if you can tell me) Android 6s iOS 9.2.1
