The chess is greats. But the timeouts for having games expire, whether you’re playing and trying to win or not, or even if you abandon a game to take a call, because let’s be honest, finishing the chess game is almost always less important than taking the call, make the experience almost unplayable. I play a lot of chess, I love it, but that’s BECAUSE I have ADHD. If you time people out for as long as you do, you’re punishing them for being distractable, and why should we not be able to be distracted for a second or two from a three minute chess game? Why so serious? It really ruins the app for me.

The site is not enjoyable.

Thibault is very proud of enabling cheaters. Everyone is using a chess AI (or maybe the world is filled with GMs?). I get to about 1900 in bullet rating and then every third player I encounter plays a perfect game. Users tune their cheat bots slowly so it ramps up their rating slowly. Yes, bots can even blunder if they are set for a certain rating. About 80% of people play with maybe one blunder. 30 centipawn loss or less consistently. But then their tuned bots can just move very fast in a one minute game, especially at the end game! Dumpster fire of a platform. Admins do nothing but worry about language like they are some 80 year old grandma.
