I’ve been using Blik since public beta and I must say that the latest update is really a game changer. The developer asked for specific feedback and he’s gone way over his head to implement some of the best suggestions. This is a must have app for organizing your projects without having to change your folder structure or have it all in one place. When you’re working with a designer, a coder, a SEO guy and the client, via Dropbox you can’t keep everything in one place. So this neat little tool just gathers all your info and you can choose to see what’s relevant for you. I’m using it everyday.
This app is really cool. It makes setting up custom work environments unbelievably easy! For almost all client projects I have to open multiple finder folders, a number of different apps (chrome, sublime text, mamp, codekit, sketch, + more) and when I start my day working on each of these projects it gets pretty annoying to have to open each folder and app one by one. Blik to the rescue! With Blik you literally just browse for the files, folders, and applications that you use in your work environment and add them to your "Collection" and optionally to your "Highlights" - then when you are ready to open them all, you just click "Open All Highlights" and BAM! Your whole work environment is ready to go. Pro tip: - pair this app with Display Maid and have it automatically restore all the window positions whereever you had them saved before. #TheFuture **Feature request** - Would love to the above tip maybe be added into the app - would be super handy, but not essential. - Would love to see a "Close All Highlights" feature so that I can swithc projects / environments ("Collections") quickly. - Ability to disabled the main floating window. I haven't been able to figure out if this is how it is designed or if I'm just missing the setting. 5 stars though for sure. Great app.
