Palace of Versailles Guide for Android

Versailles Palace might be one of the most impressive places Ive been in Europe. I normally spend my summers visiting a new place and this chateau is incredible. This guid is complete and I did not spend a dime on it. I also took advantage and took a skip the line tour to avoid the crowds. I ended up coming twice to the palace and the second time I spent all day in the gardens. You should try to visit this place if you are in Paris or around it.

It is ridiculous that they offer this “free” version but the only problem is that you can’t use it unless you pay the upgrade What a joke. Found real free version with Rick Steves.

For free you get Siri reading a short overview of Versailles. To get any appreciable use, pay up (which I didn't, nor will I). Give me more upfront to let me know you are worth paying for the rest. That is the model that works best.

I thought I would be able to look at the photos on the web site. No such luck. Was very disappointed. I was hoping for some background history with each photo. I am from the United States and will never be able to visit this beautiful palace.

I purchased it while at Versailles and it took hours to down load and when it finally downloaded, it was a scanned copy of an old guide. The free paper map they provide at Versailles is much more comprehensive. Do not waste your money on this app!
