Weight Loss Walking for Android

I have loved this app for years but in the last 6 weeks it has become so glitchy I have deleted it and found another app. It will not run in the background anymore so if I put my phone in my pocket or my screen times out while I’m walking, my workout stops. It will resume when I reopen the app but I’ll have lost minutes of recording my workout. When my workout is complete , the app no longer finishes the cycle so when I reopen the app next time it asks if I want to resume my workout (from the day before!) and only then will it record my walk. In combination, I find these two things so irritating that I no longer want to use the app (even though I had just renewed my subscription for the YEAR). It’s too bad because this used to be such a motivating and well-loved app and now it’s trash.

Make it more flexible! I love the app but it doesn’t want me to do what I want.

I tried to cancel a subscription I had so it would not charge me next year, but it ended up subscribing again, now I have 2 concurrent subscriptions that I can't cancel

I tried the very same day I downloaded this app to cancel this subscription but the system would not allow it. I called to try to cancel it and was told I need to go into my Google account in settings to close account. For some reason, it’s not allowing me to cancel this subscription. I need to cancel subscription and would like to have my $$$ back. There is no option for me to cancel this account in the settings or profile.
