    MonthlyCal Reviews

    • No more support

Great app but fails to provide support now so it's worthless

    • Perfect basic calendar

This is the first time I write a review for any app ever, that's how good this is. MonthlyCal fits my use case 100% perfect - a very small and basic calendar available in one click as a widget, with scrollable months. No bloat, no tons of useless integrations, etc. I only wish it gets updated for Big Sur because Google seems to have broken the old notification center with some newfangled update and I don't think MonthlyCal works at the moment for Big Sur specifically, but I'm really hoping for an update, because on my older Macs it is super-convenient and allows me to look up dates super-quickly without distracting me from what I'm actually doing.

    • Great, just need a few tweaks!

This app is a couple tweaks away from being perfect. Macs don't have dashboard anymore so it's great for putting a calendar in notification center. My two requests: I'd love to be able to have it not highlight sundays OR saturdays. There's a setting for saturday but not sunday, and right now the color is distracting - I'd love it for only the current day to be highlighted. The only other thing that could be improved is the color of the days that are not in the current month. They are very similar in color to the days in the current month and I think need to be made a bit more transparent. That would make it easier to pick out when the month begins and ends. Thank you for making this and supporting this app!
