It does the main thing. Allows you to communicate with teacher and check updates. No additional features really.
Using this app is very frustrating. The messages disappear and more often than not I get a black screen when I open the app. I cannot respond to my children’s teachers in a timely manner.
This is essentially Facebook for schools. We used to use Remind which was great. I could message my students teachers as needed and that was it. Now I am constantly inundated with unnecessary notifications and nonsense I do not care about or need to know. It’s overly complicated and frankly does too much. I don’t need another form of social media dedicated to my kids school.
We have 3 kids in the school district in 3 schools. It’s hard to navigate this app to find info. I’ll see a notification come up, click on it and not find the post. There’s a separate screen for each school, child, teacher, the district, etc. and then multiple for each with posts and media. It’s fine that there are categories but it would be helpful to be able to see everything in one place so I can find the info at a glance sequentially. Maybe there’s a training video but I couldn’t find a link to that in the app either. Arg.
Great for school news, updates , and keeping track of current events on campus. Easy to access teachers via messages etc
