Bernadine replaced my Soundgate 2 with version 3 which has this app. It worked fairly well with the app but it is confusing and required frequent fiddling2 . With IOS 10 it is worse. Don't know if it is a Bluetooth issue or not. With Soundgate 2 and no app I was fine. Now I have trouble without this app. Bottom line I have never seen any advantage to have this app.
The device sound is intermittent, doesn't work consistently with Android. Would like to see improvements. Would be happy to give feedback.
The Android uses its own version on Bluetooth so the connection with the Soundgate often drops out making the app useless. My old LG dumb phone never drops the connection. When the app works it is decent, but not as good as the Resound app.
