It took a little while to figure out how it works but once I figured it out it was very easy to use.
Installed this one ages ago; use it routinely throughout the day to fix this or that, and most specifically for the reformat-paragraph (remove double space, fix line breaks, etc.) element. Hitting the keys (cmd-shift-7) is as much of a natural thing for me as hitting the space bar when I'm typing. (and a big extra thanks to DEVON for keeping it updated; just saw that they've made it native to the M1 as well, so I'll be able to keep using it far into the future).
UPDATE: Does not work nearly as well or as consistently with Android Big Sur as it did previously. Pleaseeeee re-optimize! <3 ~~~ Works. Simple. Truly free with no ads, though I would have gladly paid for this. In future updates, it would be nice to include a service to surround (i.e. add to the text rather than replace/modify) highlighted text with parentheses, brackets, or quotes. Example: Before: This is the example. After: (This is the example.) Bravo, and thank you :so: much!
I've used this for years to add simple text manipulation shortcuts to apps that don't have them. It's great! It's like having a real text editor everywhere. Where it's most useful, though, is in browser text entry fields, but as of Big Sur that's broken! If you trigger a WordService shortcut, it just deletes the text in the field (in Safari at least). Hopefully there'll be a fix, but since it's not been updated in 2 years, it may just be time for me to make some Automator workflows instead. -1 star until that's fixed.
I downloaded this because it had a lot of cool options, but I only see a handful of options on mine. Why?
