  • A bit clunky but it’ll do

I just changed from Feedly to Inoreader. While I’m glad it exists, it’s a bit of a clunky site, but I figured it out. I manually added my feeds and it didn’t like several sites that I actually was able to follow on Feedly so that was annoying. One of them was the BBC news site, the “add feed” feature would say that no feed was available, when in fact I subscribe to 2 of their feeds via Feedly. Then I followed their “Global News” curated list and, surprise, surprised BBC News is a source in there. So I unsubscribed from the other sources on that list and now I can get the news headlines from the BBC. The other site I wasn’t able to follow despite trying multiple times is my library system’s news page. I tried their RSS feed and a couple of page URLs, to no avail. I’m subscribed to it in Feedly so I’m not sure what the problem is. Another clonky thing that is annoying is that if you share an article from the website via email (not from the app), the email arrives as addressed from “inoreader” instead of from me, even if I have checked the “use my email address”. People will be able to reply to me, but that’s useless if they don’t see that the article was shared BY me. They’ll think it is spam! Please fix that. Sharing via email on the app works great, no issues there, the email arrives with me as the sender Another suggestion I have is to please increase the contrast between read and unread articles in the list view. Some of us have vision problems and it’s hard to see difference between the read and unread articles when using “all articles” view. If the read article headlines could be a bit dimmer, it would be better. Overall, it’s an adequate substitute for Feedly. I’m especially happy that I can log in with the “email” option without having to link to a social media site or my Google or Microsoft accounts. This is why I came from Feedly, because they took that option away. Thank you, devs.

  • App isn’t working. Nothing Loads

Pretty unreliable app. Nothing loads. Service is basically unusable. Account deleted.

  • Must have

One of the best RSS apps available. My only gripe is that the app doesn't respond to iOS global font / display sizing. It works on Android though.

  • Love it, but.....

....would love it more with a Android app. Having to use Reeder to display my Inoreader subs. Works, but not as well.

  • Bye bye Feedly

I switched to Inoreader from Feedly a year ago and have never looked back. The app does a great job of organizing my feeds and newsletters. If I ever want to do more, I know there are filter rules that can help set up my feed however I want.
