Stitcher for Android

If you switch to another app for even a second it’s going to be frozen when you come back. Going to switch to Spotify and see if it can manage to play an audio file without locking up.

App still won’t open after the update. Very frustrating.

I can no longer login with Facebook and have lost all my play history and podcast lists. This is over 7 years of the history from a 2.5 hour daily commute. It repeated displays a “AWSautherror” when I try and login. Tech support isn’t of any use and is “hoping for a fix” in a future release

First and foremost: Stitcher needs an Google Watch app. Second, but hopefully more easily fixable: Frustratingly, on attempting to play a *downloaded* podcast when my network connection is **weak** but not considered offline (like in an underground garage), the app will buffer and spin and not play the downloaded podcast until I reach an area with better connection. This is weird and not what a refined app or service should do. If I’m in Airplane Mode, on the other hand, and start a downloaded podcast, it plays just fine.

As someone who listens to many many podcasts, to love how this app allows me to organize them into custom groups but… why is the search function SOOOOO bad!!!! Any misspelling or slight change completely throws off the search so trying to find a podcast which I don’t know the exact name of can be difficult. I often have to use search in Google Podcasts or Spotify to find the podcast I’m looking for and then type in the full exact title into Stitcher to find it. Even then sometimes its hard to find! 😩
