Scan option doesn’t work at all. Needs updated maybe server issue? Can’t find anything you scan. Even if they already have it saved it says can’t be found. It’s sad because this was really a great app. No one else had one like this except halal scanner for Muslims.... please fix! Shalom!
Simple will not work on an Android 8 with latest updates. Usually says no info if anything at all. This is worse most useless app ever. Point it at a product with the OU next to the bar code and the app can’t find anything on the product. Completely and totally useless
I have ISO 12.1 for Google. I use to have the older version kosher. The newer version is it kosher won’t let me download the app. It only lets me open it from the App Store. Are compatible with new version and if so how do I download the apps. Thank you
Common items in my pantry are missing. Other common items that are definitely kosher like cheerios or via coffee are listed as not kosher. Although the concept is good this app doesn't yet pass the test of actually being useful.
I feel the all can benefit from more granular search options. It would be better to leave all categories ticked and search filter to select a country/region. That way, if there is a product from a country I am looking for, I can just filter to that country instead of turning on the list. Also a view option, I would like to have ability to change to list view, small icons etc - will make it easier to find items in a long list. A link to the product source would be helpful too, (e.g UOS of South Africa has notes about certain products on their website that don't show in the app) so not just a link to their website, but to the actual search term on the website.....
