Doesn’t work

I bought this app with great expectations. While it still might be good, i cannot tell as the part of the panel is not formated properly, so I cannot see much. Also, the above shows a magnifying glass to allow you to pick a color, however the magnifying glass is missing, so i can only play with the color wheel for colors. I am reasonably confident this is only a format issue with El Capitan and they they will update it to be whole again, but until then. Hold off on buying this. Once fixed, I will happily update this review.

Wish i had discovered Utilities/Digital Color Meter (free) before buying

This works okay but you have to paste the text into a text document before seeing the color code. Android has built-in "Utilities/Digital Color Meter" that provides much the same info right on screen without the additiona step of pasting to text file. Maybe check it first to see if it does what you need.

Works as advertised

Was going to write myself a utility to do this but bought this instead. Nice simple utility that does what it’s supposed to do without a lot of fuss. Nice work.
