Doctor Who Magazine for Android

I used to wait more than a month to buy each issue of the magazine at local stores. Now, the App makes each issue available on same day as UK release! And at a much reduced price! Buying this App was about the smartest thing I've ever done as a fan of Doctor Who, the best show on television. But I can't give the app a full 5-star rating because it does so little with the digital magazine format. What we get are straight reproductions of the pages of the print magazine - with zoom, obviously the most necessary tool - and that's perhaps all any Whovian needs. And the special issues are amazing in content. But I wish the app took fuller advantage of the digital medium.

I like the digital access to the magazine, but the app is hardly intuitive. I wish they'd take a hint from Comixology, making purchases more intuitive, and allowing navigation between pages with a tap on one side of the screen instead of a full swipe.

It's a good app for someone who wants to get the magazine.

I've loved Doctor Who Magazine for years, and this electronic version is perfect. It has super high quality scans that look wonderful on my Mobile Pro. Keep up the good work. ---Kelvington
