Slice: Pizza Delivery/Pick Up for Android

I ordered using this app. I was charged and paid for items not delivered. Customer support won’t offer a refund for items not delivered. There is literally no upside to using this app! Just order directly from the restaurant.

This is the best pizza place I have Evers got it has amazing customer service and there food is amazing I would 10/10 recommend this my kids loved it and so did my husband the delivery driver was super kind and so was the lady on the phone I would totally got here again!!

I had several issues the first time I tried this app (see original review below) including them really screwing with small businesses. However for a special occasion we wanted to order from one particular restaurant in our town that unfortunately only uses Slice. (Although I hear that will probably change soon since they too have had issues with this service) So unfortunately we had to download this all over. We had an issue with the order and called the restaurant. They told us we’d have to deal with slice directly because of the way it’s set up. When I begged them to try and take care of it there, they agreed. When they asked why, I had told them I had several issues with dealing with Slice “customer service” or lack thereof and just didn’t want to deal with the insanity. They were amazing at the restaurant and took care of the problem for us and told us that they are indeed looking elsewhere for a better more hassle free service to deal with. Since then I can’t get away from the notifications and emails constantly trying to get me to order again. So while I had tried to give this another chance, it wasn’t worth it. Bye again! — First review: While I thank you for answering my review I find your answer unacceptable. I said in an earlier review that the prices are MUCH higher here than on other apps. You said that “the prices are set up by the restaurant partners.” Which begs the question...what are YOU charging these small businesses to use your service that they have to raise their prices that much? You claim you are all about supporting local businesses and the small shops but in fact you are causing them to lose money. I find this absolutely dishonest. Thankfully there’s other apps out there we can order from because Slice has seriously dropped the ball. Bye. - First review: The prices are much higher in this and the menus are more limited with much less selections than other platforms; no way to change menu categories so it’s endless scrolling trying to find what you want and what makes me the craziest...the new stalking feature. No way to edit notifications either. Stop telling me to order pizza! I get at least three notifications a day popping up telling me to order. It’s not cute, it’s not funny, it’s harassment. And if I had an eating disorder, it would be enabling. One more strike and I’m deleting. Only reason I still have it is because one shop’s menu (and only one shop’s menu) has more items here than on others. However the (much) higher prices on this are outweighing those options now. This started off as a great service but it’s gone downhill in the last year. Shame. I liked their commitment to the smaller shops.

Simple pizza app that says it “tracks” delivery. It clearly just works off a timer and has zero ability to have any clue where the Driver is. App shows pizza delivered at 7:52 it came at 8:40. I used the chat function and the answer was I’ll call and see what’s going on, I could have done that if I didn’t use the crapy app. Worthless app I deleted it

Worst. service. ever. Only posting this to help others avoid inconvenience. Call your local restaurant for delivery and avoid THIS APP. I used it for convenience, next time I will just call our local restaurant directly. Most of our food was delivered incorrectly because slice didn’t communicate to restaurant properly. Sandwiches that were requested hot came cold. Items That were marked grilled came breaded. Every time I use this app for work or home, in different locations, the order gets screwed up, only common denominator is slice. Awful. First and last time I am writing a review and also called. No accommodations were made and they are trying to put it on the restaurant. It’s not the restaurants fault it’s slice. Never again.
