It’s a very pretty app, but I can’t give it five stars until there’s a function to let me save articles. I start reading something, then when I try to come back to it later in the day I have to search for it. It would also be nice if the app could remember where you were in an article when you return to it.
I’ve been reading New York magazine for a long time and this has already become my favorite new app. A truly delightful experience
So we finally have an Android app for the New York magazine which is longgggg overdue and while I am happy that I don’t have to muddy my browser tabs with random articles anymore, there are a few user interface improvements I’d love to see such as the ability to bookmark articles to read later (how is this not a feature????) and the option for a night mode feature — the bright white interface is not appealing at all when I’m in bed. And maybe these features do exist but IF they do then they are not clearly accessible enough for me to not write a review about.
Very well designed!
I’ll only giving it three stars because it doesn’t have native Mobile support, it looks really ugly on an Mobile. For now I’ll stick to the webpage when reading NYMag on my Mobile. Add Mobile support and I’ll raise my rating to five stars. Thanks!
