Won’t close

I love this app. It’s been great for the grandkids and they love it. But 98% of the time the app will not close, which causes a problem when your busy with the kids. Most often when u swipe up it just stays open and I have to power off my phone each time. Maybe it’s my phone, I don’t know but this does not happen with any other app.
