EatStreet Local Food Delivery for Android

Tl;dr, after supporting EatStreet from 2018-2022 I can no longer justify using it. It has gotten consistently worse. EatStreet was fine in 2020/2021 but has gotten consistently worse in the past six months. Order delivery estimates are never updated (it will say 20-30 minutes the entire time for an order that arrives 90 minutes later), drivers are not notifying when they’ve dropped off the food (especially important given how frequently their drivers drop the food off at the wrong door), the fees have been inexplicably increasing, and their customer service is rude and inattentive. I was offered a $3 coupon for a $5+tax+tip+service fee item that was cold and only contained four fries and their customer service rep closed the chat as I was still trying to talk to them (eventually I received a $5 coupon which still doesn’t even cover the cost of the screwed up dish, and as it is a coupon, it’s not even really a refund given that I must use it on their app). After supporting EatStreet from 2018 through 2021, I will not continue to use it. Their bad practices have sufficiently turned away myself and my friends and family.

For the last ~6 months we’ve tried to order using your app and it ALWAYS ERRORS OUT when I go to submit the order. Beyond frustrating. Desktop is the only way we can actually use your product - which is not the world we live in. I love supporting local companies such as Eatstreet but I think it’s time to move on to a product that actually delivers on their core user promise.

It has been giving me "unknown error occured" for months now, right at the moment of submitting the order. Customer service is useless - all they do is tell you to reinstall the app which doesn't help. My GF is running into the same issue which means it's not just me. The only workaround is to use website, which of course does not preserve order started on mobile app

I have ordered from this restaurant 2 times. In those 2 times I have never received 1 crum. Don’t every order from this app!!!!

This app continues to change the expecting time for when we receive the food. We were told that it would be 20-30 min from placing the order and it took more than 1.5 hours. The app constantly said that it would be “20-30 min”. I would prefer that the app just said an actual estimate of how long the delivery would take. 0/10.
