7/30 day passes are hidden in Add Funds button, which is kind of misleading, giving impression of being not available without fiddling with the app. Transfers are available, but are hidden behind confusing statement of ‘bundling transfer’, user can opt to bundle transfer for $0.00 (by hitting ‘purchase’ or opt for no transfer by hitting ‘NO’. I think issuing transfer should be enabled by default, as is, it is confusing in the current form. Otherwise app works very well.
The qr code is so hard to scan and it holds up the line. Also ticket only works for 5 minutes after use which is kinda crazy.
This new app has no monthly passes! What a joke of an app launch! The fact that the old app is no longer working and the new app has very limited passes to purchase is extremely concerning and disappointing for the riders and the people who actually fund this PUBLIC entity, the taxpayers, which I am one! Every public transportation system has at least a monthly and daily passes for purchase. Most have daily, weekly and monthly passes available. The Lynx transit system has only daily passes available for purchase! Poor service from the communication to commuters and riders, even the bus drivers are unaware of which app is the new and/or the old app! Poor service to the community from another sector of the local government!
I would definitely use this app, if it let you use your own payment methods instead of the two they have( which are Google Pay or credit card ,no debit). I don’t like that it has to be so complicated. I’m deleting this app and going back to cash.
The new app is terrible, there is no dark mode for the visually impaired. There is also no discount tickets available. with the new app it takes several more steps to navigate through the app to make a payment. what were the people in charge thinking. Needs dark mode to comply with the ADA act. Very disturbing needs a lot of work to be useful.
