BayCare App for Android

The new app won’t accept my existing password or let me reset on the phone. When I leave the app to read the email for the access number, the app resets to login instead of waiting for the access number. A second device is needed to read the email so this is not a true phone app.

Spent about five minutes before I gave up trying to sign in. I can sign in on my Windows 11 PC to the website, but when I go to sign in on the app, it does not recognize my sign in as being valid. I deleted the app and reloaded, but still have a fail. Android 16 Pro running iOS 18.0.1. Even attempted to create the same sign in on the app, and it said it already exists. Not sure where the problem is, but there seems to be an issue. After 45 years in the tech field, I’m still amazed that software like this gets released!

Downloaded this today. Have been using my patient portal for years without any problems without going through this app. The sign in was awful. It would not take the password I have been using. I had to reset the password and it kept kicking back to the sign in page within 5 seconds. So I got out another device and opened the mail with the code to enter it quickly. Took 2 tries. Switched from trying on the Mobile (new model, updated software) to the Android (new model, updated software). I had the same unpleasant experience on the Android. When I finally got it to let me in, a different address (emly? Something) wanted permission to access. When I tried to give access, it asked me to give my code and showed 2 choices, both of which looked like dr/med group names, but neither looked like baycare or my baycare dr. Am deleting app.

The transition from Gessler to BayCare has not been the smoothest but I've been patient with the process since something’s just take time. But it’s been months now and the transition from the fully functional Follow My Health app to this glitchy BayCare app is still terrible and it’s only getting worse. Before, I could log into Follow My Health with Face ID but it’s not available with the BayCare app. I don’t even use the BayCare app now, since I have to go online to the website. Which brings me to my other complaint, I wish you would make it where we can set up appointments online with the app, which is also something I miss having with the Follow My Health app. If you’re going to take away something that’s fully functioning, maybe make sure that what you replace it with is also fully functioning.

I’m very disappointed with this app. It’s clumsy and most importantly is incomplete. I am unable to send my doctor a message. This is a major inconvenience. I’m annoyed.
