Memrise Easy Language Learning for Android

You can’t go back to an older lesson and redo it fresh, which is a massive oversight. This is especially true when Memrise removes the language you’re learning from the main menu, thus rendering you incapable of getting that information again. Sure, you can see the words and do the tasks which you didn’t complete the first time through. Personally, unless you’re picking a more popular language, I think that you might be better off with a different app.

The Memrise community have been complaining about this problem since Nov 2017, at which time the Memrise team replied it would be fixed in a later update. Well, over 4.5 years have passed and we’re still waiting despite the fact that trying to learn kanji is virtually impossible when it is displayed so small on the screen. This reduces the utility of the app considerably. I’ve tried changing font settings in iOS, but that hasn’t helped at all. Memrise is a good language learning tool. Just imagine how many times better and more effective it would be for Japanese if the kanji and kana were displayed larger. I would give it 5 stars if that issue was sorted out.

I speak Persian and There is no Persian in I speak… section so I can’t get started

I purchased this one instead of its competitors because the others only have subscription models - and I accept subscription models only for apps with a constant data feed (stocks, weather). The structure of the courses and the variety of lessons and languages are really good in my opinion.
