This is absurd - of course I love this app but I'm trying to move it to another computer AND will remove from old computer but cannot get the license code BECAUSE I bought it through the app store - MISTAKE. It shows I did buy it and it shows when but I cannot get the code so I will have to purchase AGAIN, This is the last time - I do not even know how I purchased it through Google - do not remember how it happened but I do feel cheated - by Google. I have only ever bought Google software through the App store on the desktop computer until this one big mistake - go through the developer NEVER go through Google App store on desktop computer. This is the best Libray Software available, do not hesitate - well worth the money just do not buy it through the app store - use the demo and purchase license code from the developer.
The fact is where the original version included several source sites for material look up this one only uses Amazon (CA/US). The original also allowed you to add your own source site for items this does not. The original also allowed you to decide where to back up your data, this one really doesn't. In my opinion, I paid 4 x as much for an inferrior product. All they really needed to do was adapt the original app to the new OSX and it would be a far superior product.
I've been using this software for years. The only problem for me is its inability to connect directly to our Amazon account so we could just add our purchases directly to the app. As it is, the camera scanner and/or the connection with my phone scanner are often not working. It's a pain to enter ISBN numbers manually for every single book.
Why does this app not pair with my Android 11? I need a refund if it doesn't pair. I can't drag all of my stuff over to my computer to scan it into the app. So disapppointed because I can't even find the help I need to try to resolve.
