Very convenient way to save recipes from the web—love how it automatically pulls in the recipe and puts everything into the template! Also has a handy serving-resizer. Many other features can be found, as well. That said, it appears I can only import a limited number of recipes before subscriptions or IAP’s kick in. When that happens, it’s back to Paprika!
Keeps crashing in the middle of trying to input a new recipe. Also in order to back up re pies you need to pay a monthly subscription 👎🏻
I really love this app for how simple it is to use and how organized it makes everything. Some other apps don't organize your recipes according to type (deserts, salads, ect.) and this one does, beautifully. I love seeing a large picture of the recipes I'm looking for instead of just the name in list form as well. This app really gives the feel of flipping through a real physical recipe book. I would LOVE to give it five stars, BUT their are several things that make this app harder to use than would be ideal. Which has me still searching for another app like this. 1- When you import recipes from the web, it most often will not bring the recipe directions as well. Which leaves you to copy and paste long directions in. However anything pasted in will show as one LONG (and un editable, see reason 2) text box. 2- Editing anything that you have already input is nearly impossible. Forgot to add a word in the directions or decided to capitalize something you forgot... Too bad. I've had to delete that whole block of text/ingredient and re add it. Did you have to import a really big text box of info, there is no way to break it up after its in the app. 3- When you re add items they are now at the bottom of the list. Was that in step two? Too bad. It's now the last thing you'll see. Unless you want to delete EVERYTHING after that ingredient and re add it all after. 4- When you are writing your instructions, the text box is almost completely covered by the keyboard. Which makes things difficult if you get distracted and forget right where you are. 5- I would really love to see an option for adding personal notes. I often find things that I need to do differently to get the recipe just right next time, and it would be nice to be able to add that in there easily. Of course you can always edit and add it as a additional step in the recipe, but an actual notes option would be lovely.
Sorry long title Spent a few days looking for what your app does. Love the manually entering recipes and recipes from web is great for the few sites it will work on. So many tests there, app excellent. Mobile app signed in with Facebook. Android signed in with Facebook....crashes repeatedly. Mobile signed in with email, wants me to subscribe, again. Android Contact us: no email setup Android Info site: No site found. ---CS fixed this problem for me and the 2 apps communicate.
I purchased this app a couple of years ago as a one time purchase and now I have to pay a monthly fee in order to continue using all of the apps feature. You should honor you agreement to those who purchased this app as a one time payment. I guess I need to look for a new app.
