Paypal has been my go to point of sale for a long time. My business is seasonal. For the last 3 summers (since I upgraded to the touch pay credit card module, the app crashes or freezes in the middle of transactions, if I try to edit my items, it will also freeze or crash. Twice this summer, it froze in the middle of service and actually married two separate customers transactions, so I lost money on those. Luckily I hand write my tickets and check against PP. the constant freezing and crashing of this app is wholly inconvenient, and I’ve lost faith in PayPal’s overall system.
I don’t use it much. Really no track record.
For some reason, I can make it connect at home on the run through, but it gets stuck when I’m at an event. Can’t figure out why.
Used to be a decent little app. Now, every time I need to run a card, I have to reconnect the reader. Or the app freezes and needs to reboot. When I want to get a sales report at the end of the day I have to log back in, and then it fails to recognize the PWord. Hugely disappointing.
Have used for years. Works great and PayPal offers many benefits for small businesses like working capital loans which are super helpful for cash flow
