OPB News for Android

This isn’t an app just links to webpages. Really needs an update.

Update (AGAIN!), 10/04/20: So now the OPB stream on the NPR app is totally broken, and on the OPB app, the live stream works some of the time but the rest of the site is still broken. COME ON. So frustrating! Can you (1) please at least fix the stream integration on NPR, so the to don’t have to open the terrible OPB app, or (2) fix your app?! Update (again), 7/11/2020: Another change to the app = you can’t stream the channel and browse news at the same time. I have no words. Also, I used to listen to OPB through the NPR app, because that app is more stable, but I think this latest change broke the stream going to NPR. PLEASE FIX YOUR APP! I’ve been a longtime sustainer but I’m not getting my pledge’s worth right now! Update: I apparently wrote my original review four years ago, and four years later, I have to say it isn’t much better! I just blamed the NPR app for glitchy streaming (I use the NPR app because I also listen to other stations, also because the OPB app is silly), but it seems to be the OPB stream that’s the glitchy thing. Can’t you please fix this? I am a sustaining member! Sustain my audio stream, please! — Original review from long ago: This thing drops its stream constantly, and I wasn't sure if it was just me and my wifi connection... but I'm only sort of glad that I'm not the only one. Hey, it dropped its connection again just now! How thoroughly annoying. OPB, come on... we deserve better!

This app has gone from mediocre to just useless. There is literally nothing here. What a great way to get those contributions rolling in, guys!

App continues to say it is updating and rarely ever will show news. Probably the worst news app ever.
