HISTORY for Android

This is my primary streaming app. T I’ve watched it almost exclusively for a couple years and the only two complaints I have are that there are a few too many commercial breaks and that I need more content.

Cannot see a lot of programs on my phone app even though I sit trough commercials on the programs I can see because they are locked. These appear to be the same commercials I see on my cable channel on TV. What's the difference? Would like to watch episodes while I am traveling but they are locked. The content is great but again I can't see it.

I have the History channel package (as well as A&E and Lifetime) as part of my DirectTV service. When I attempt to view content on the History/Lifetime apps, I get a 0033: not authorized error. I contacted support & they basically told me that I had to combine my DTV accounts (I have one for phone & one for DTV). I can’t do that because I use that same account for multiple platforms. The weird thing is, I can watch some episodes of the same show, but not others.

Downloaded this app and nothing. It doesn’t stream episodes. It spins and spins and spins. Even with a solid Wi-Fi connection it does nothing but spin. If it was an designed to spin this would be the best. Unfortunately this app is pure garbage. I love the History channel and had hoped to enjoy watching missed episodes but I can see that’s not going to happen with this app. The History Channel app for my Samsung Smart TV does the same thing. I can watch every other streaming service with no issues. History Channel …not so much.
