Great for a Truck Driver as myself love the log and how I can send to my job and family to keep me safe and so they know where I’m headed way to go! Easy to use smooth and linked with my Android instantly !! Big Five stars to the creators for this one looking forward to updates love the fact you guys were able to add the weather when I linked my phone thank you so much!!!
I will be selling all of my Garmin devices due to their not caring about their customer. I hope everyone does the same.
Shame on Garmin for not caring about their customers by offering this very poor application. Among the many things I have discovered not working, the latest one is: App crashes when viewing Live Traffic and switching to map mode
Fully realizing that an app last updated 2 years ago means I’m basically worthless as a customer to Garmin and there’s a PM literally laughing into their bank account as they read this: Please quit telling me EVERY SINGLE TIME I check the feature that you’re not authorized to show me weather in the Gulf of Guinea where your horribly broken map in the “premium” Weather Alerts always defaults. In fact, quit telling me that *anywhere* and just show me the data when USA, where I bought the IAP and THE ONLY PLACE YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THIS VERSION OF THE APP is onscreen. Otherwise leave it off and be quiet. I really wish it would shut up about this issue I don’t care about at all, because the map navigation is so awful you have to swipe five times to get back to the US and EVERY SINGLE TIME NAGS YOU about it. Oh, and the Nav rode me into a severe wind area hours after buying “Advanced Weather” with no warning. I guess maybe the problem is the Severe Weather Warning is for the coastline so doesn’t extend onto land in the map data? No idea, but given that the coast is land AS WELL AS sea, and that we have highways on the coast, sure was a bummer not to get warned the highway was too dangerous for me to be on before I rode into 35mph crosswinds. So I paid $5 for a broken map and a nag simulator that set me up for danger, and never mind the $5 for a traffic cam UI that can’t actually show them from their own map view and for which half are broken at any given time anyway, and the $900 for last decade’s Zumo I got sold as a premium bike navigator by hiding it behind a BMW logo. I’ll never buy Garmin again. They’ve seriously lost their mojo.
The app hasn’t been updated in 2 years and it shows! It constantly disconnects and when the phone does connect it has issues connecting the “Smartphone Link”. I have owned several Garmin's over the last 15 years and have always recommended them to family and friends. I can no longer do that in good faith. smh
