I have used this app heavily for years. What I find so helpful is to be able to note an idea or information in whatever subject I choose to compile and have it show up on every device. Sometihng I need from the grocery? Add it to my laptop list and it is on my phone when I want my grocery list. If a clien calls going to this app is just as fast as picking up a piece of paper -- my criteria for usefulness -- for making notes to that client's file. Simple and effective.
I have lost track of how many years I have used notefile for — but it has had a prominent spot on the home screen of my Android and the Dashboard of my Android for as long as those things were possible. I love Juneclouds simple handy apps! Pony up the few bucks and be rewarded with a simple, stable, useful app.
I’ve been using this app for several years; although it hasn’t been updated in a while, this is still works great. I use it in the menubar, to jot down quick notes/thoughts related to things I’m working on — quick and easy (and much faster than dealing with Notes or similar note-taking apps with a larger footprint. I also have the iOS apps, and sync works great. If there’s something I’d like to see in an update: the ability to pin notes to the top of the list, as well as a dark mode. Otherwise, this is one of my most-used apps: for work and personal use. Here’s hoping the developer will continue to support this app! There is no replacement for this one in terms of simplicity and aesthetics (and I’ve tried almost all the usual suspects in MAS and outside of MAS).
I picked up Notefile over two years ago and it quickly became my favorite and most used app. I have it on my Android, Mobile (in the dock) and Android (Assign to All Desktops). After two plus years it’s still my favorite and most used app. The interface is dead simple so it's easy to add notes quickly. iCloud sync is seamless and near instantaneous. No tags or folders, but the search function makes it easy to find the notes I'm looking for. Had a minor glitch when I upgraded to Yosemite, and Junecloud tech support was outstanding - gave me a quick & easy fix & I was back in business.
This is the best notes app I have found so far. I use it to sync quick notes between my laptop and desktop computer. It works flawlessly! The only improvement I would like to see is related to search: when I search for a word, it shows the notes that contain that word, but not where the searched word is contained in each note (some kind of highlight would be really great). Right now what I’m doing is copying the full note (which contains the searched word) to anoter text editor and doing a new search to locate its occurrences...
