I have had this product for about a year and a half. I have been a user of AutoCad for years but due to their pricing structure am unable to continue. I thought I woudl try this, it is similar to AutoCad, I was unable to create new drawings so I had to use an existing one and do a save as, none of my drawings appeared in the recent column. But I thought that I would just get by, then suddenly about 2 months ago my cursor when I tried to draw was not aligned with the drawing space. At this point I finally called text support. First they couldn't find me since I had bought it on Google Store (do not buy on Google Store). Then I told them my issues and they would only work on my inability to save my drawings. I could care less about that, I've been dealing with that. Not sure what to do
This is a super laggy program. Hard to use. Not very user freindly. And cost a lot. I feel like it was a waste of time to use this program. Cost extra for rendering program. Also bad tutorials. I switched to Fusion 360 because it is easier to use has free rendering and doesn't lag and is also free to hobbiest. It's ok but for the big price tag there are much better options out there especially if you are a hobbiest.
Perhaps usable. I just downloaded it for a quick project. The controlls are not obvious. The artwork in the app is not retina friendly (so menu text is crisp the assocated icons are lower res). Overall the interface looks like it was developed on DOS or on earlier Windows releases. I will keep trying. When I saw there was a 2020 update I was hopefull that some of the review comments would have been addressed. Not so.
I’ve used AutoCad for many-many years at work, then discovered DraftSight which is much like AutoCad for personal projects. My only issue with CorelCad and Draftsight is the subscriptions. I use a CAD app/software about 3-4 times per year and cannot justify $100-300 annual cost. I use it for personal projects only!!! I don’t mind paying for the software, but my projects are simple - just saying! Subscriptions are not an option for me! I am not degrading either software but why must I subscribe/monthly/annually??? Done!
Subscription? ZERO STARS.
