Does exactly what it says, and does it well. Auto-locating my cursor when crossing to different monitors is genius and super helpful.
Exactly what I've been looking for. Although it probably only saves a few seconds, the frustration with looking for the cursor on multiple monitors is easily resolved. Well worth the purchase price.
I'm a database developer who spends a lot of time working on the computer. I also have RP (Retinitus Pigmentosa) and have lost my mouse at lesat a 100x a day... to compensate, i've trained myself to move the mouse to the upper left corner of the display. This app just put an end to that! The crosshairs extend the whole screen and is fully customizable in thickness, color, opaqness, and you can even outline the crosshairs like the outline of the mouse.
As a long-time user of Lagente’s PinPoint and then PinPoint Pro I eas so happy to find something similar that is currently being developed and supported. No more struggling with partial compatibility and glitchy operation. myPoint Light is everything PinPoint Pro was only implemented with a better user experience. What I like most is the Crosshairs and those settings. Its cool that I can set the crosshairs to appear only on the screen where the mosue is. That helps alot when returning to my Android after a break. Then the real treat was that I could punch a hole in the center, so the crosshair does not obscure graphics control points and buttons! Simpe but a fantastic addition! One thing I’ve often wondered if I would like from PinPoint Pro was an ability to color the crosshair elements individually or in a group. For example I could make the left horizontal and upper vertical blue, and the right horizontal and lower vertical red. This wa I could follow the color from the edge of the screen to find the cursor. (Devs! I’ll try a beta.) But I think myPoint’s locator will suffice. The mouse locator function is implemented in a clean unabtrusive fashion. The slighted touch of the mouse can give a “ping” style shrinking ring around the pointer. I don’t have to sit there and shake until Android decided to give the BIG cursor. I can also just tap the control key by itself to get the same effect. I have not messed with the Mouse Halo module but I like that it is there. It seems a bit more intrusive than the thin full-screen crosshairs. What could be better? I would like to see a point size or pixel size for the crosshair line width. The Guage numbers are too coarse for my liking. A way to transfer settings between my computers would be nice. This way I could have a settings backup - once I got everything just perfect.
Excellent Utility!
