This is easy to use and just like having paper flashcards at your fingertips. Nice to have when there's down time. And it's free!! Only thing better would be if the audio of the Japanese words playing when learning the English.
At first I wasn't too impressed but as I continued my use, I think that interface is really smooth. The only thing that bugs me is that there isn't a 'purchase all' option. Perhaps change the "buy us coffee" to "please donate".
The app description says that onyomi and kunyomi readings are provided, but they are not, and I don't see a way to turn them on.
I downloaded this app hoping it would help me learn/remember/understand kanji a bit better. The problem with kanji is that reading them alone with English translations alone does not do this. For example 日 (nichi) means day but you can also use it for 日本 (Nippon) which means Japan or 日曜 (nichiyoubi) weekday. So it would be more helpful if they can include on-yomi and kun-yomi readings of kanji rather than just English definitions.
I am in the process of learning Japanese and this app has helped me drill myself on the go. The only thing I would say that would make it better for me is to include all Japanese pronunciation for some of the cards (it seems like some already have it) as kanji can have more than one meaning. This app is great! Keep up the good work~
