Hey , forget the snivelers that don't like it or can't figure it out. I'll clue you all in. Make sure the XML that you create lives in the same folder as the all the folders/clips/stills/audio (a master folder) and that's it. Don't expect it to do a lot of things , like time stretching, a lot of effects, ken burns and stuff like that. This is to do a edit with out the fluff and color correcting etc. Just do your edit , make the XML and pull it into Premiere. I'm using this for a client that only uses Premiere and hate premiere and can edit 100X faster in Final cut. So i'm saving myself a night mare by just buying this, making the edit and sending them the folder with the XML and files in it, and they are going to finish it of. (I shot it and understand the best shots so thats why i'm doing the rough edit FYI) . It's a life saver!! just buy it for those reasons and you are going to give it a 10 star.
6 out of 6 clips failed to get the proper speed change. I guess if you do cuts only same speed it works.
I was very hesitant to buy this after reading some of the reviews. I bought it and just hoped for the best, and it worked great. I imported an 8 minute video and it only missed two clips, which were both easy to locate and replace. It brought in the audio files correctly and made it very simple. A $50 investment to save several hours of work and headache is well worth it in my eyes.
After transitioning from FCPX to Premiere, all the footage was missing. I had to manually relink all the footage in order to continue editing into Premiere. Additionally, when I tried to render the video, it said it had failed specifically because of the exporting - which was from this application.
Does what it’s supposed to do, but I only use it occasionally. Meanwhile, at least once a month there’s an update. Not sure why they don’t bundle the updates into fewer versions.
