Download the camouflage.apk to your device using any of the download mirrors.

1. If there're just too many icons on your Desktop to have any overview over them, just hide them away with Camouflage and double-click your desktop to open a new Finder-Window for your Desktop-folder.

2. If you have a cluttered Desktop and just don't want to see your icons, or you just want to give a presentation and don't want your audience to see your desktop icons, Camouflage will help.

3. Sitting in the menu bar, Camouflage is easily accessible and can be quickly used to hide your desktop icons.

One Feature Alone Is Worth It

In addition to hiding Desktop icons I especially value the ability to bring a specified Finder window (e.g. Downloads, Desktop, etc.) to the front simply by clicking anywhere on the Desktop. No need for menu or key commands to do that. A problem I was having following migrating files to a new Android was addressed overnight via email by the developer.

No Menu Icon

If I open the application from my applications folder or dock it begins to hide my desktop, but there isn’t a menu icon that I can access to change options, preferences, etc.

Good but there is a bug!

The setting wont save my hot key anymore. It use to work but not anymore. It jitters when its on and it wont leave my top bar even when i click the deactivation in the app settings. FIX because i love this app! Once the bug is fixed i reccommend everyone to but it!

No longer developed

Seems to be another abandoned project. Avoid. Stay away. My copy has ceased to function (El Cap) no updates for a year...

Great application, but annoying bug

For some reason, the application won’t open at launch, even though the box “Open at Launch” is checked. The app is great at what it does, but having to search for it and open it everytime I restart or turn on my machine is very annoying.
