No frills, no muss, no fuss. Just needed something to open an app, enter my login credentials and create it in a way I can edit (as my password changes every 60 days). This did the trick. Now that I have it I am sure I will be using it to do other repetitive/semi-tedious stuff. Nice piece of work.
Keyboard Maestro, Hazel and others had too many features I was never to use. For my dull repetitive Mail funtions, this software did it just right! Thank you
I wanted this application for typing blocks of text repeatedly. However, after purchasing, I find that its behavior is inconsistent when it comes to capitalization when typing text. Sometimes characters are capitalized, and sometimes not. Parentheses, for example, show up when "typed" by the app as 9 and 0 rather than ( and ) on my system running Snow Leopard. Also, there is a clipboard feature that I am completely unable to make work in any way on either Snow Leopard or Lion. Overall, I like the app, but it just isn't working the way I need it to for my purposes due to the bugs present in the current version.
My trial run of Keyboard Maestro was almost over, and I was having a hard time stomaching $35+ for it, because they decided the upgrade would not be free (I've been using KM for years). I checked out SimpleKeys, and it works just as well. I'd like to suggest that Type Text and Paste Text would wrap in its entry window, though. I mean, you have all that window space, and I'd sure like to see all of what I've typed so I can check for typos. If SimpleKeys had that, I'd give it 5 stars.
Quickeys broke with Lion, and so far with no upgrade. Realistically, I used pretty simple macros, much of the power of QK2 was wasted on me. I'd heard of Simplekeys in the past and bumped into it here in the App store. This is just the ticket for me! It does just what I need it to do; open a URL, enter the logon information. Boom. Done. I'm a happy man. Only $15 bucks, too! Thanks, Pidog!
