It worked once but now all it does is crash. I deleted the damned thing. How dare the app store put this up.
I have a small animation and video editing business and use TransferBigFiles on a regular basis to send videos and graphics to clients. I have the Pro subscription which costs about $100 a year and it has been very useful. I also build websites and personally have no problem using FTP to transfer files but TransferBigFiles is better for sending files to clients that are not familiar with FTP. It's a simple link in their email vs having to walk them through the FTP process which may or may not work in their browser. The TransferBigFiles server is also a lot faster than my FTP site, if I need to get a large file to someone fast this is the best option. In addition, with the pro plan you get 2 upload widgets which you can put on your website. I use this a simple way for clients to send me larger files.
It's a quick way to send some hudge files that are stored on your Android to someone, but there is no preview when you are looking at the files that you are sending. You can double click on the download file, and it will send you to your TBF on the website. Thi sreally defest the purpose of having a App for this wonderful transfer multimedia source on your Android, but that's just how I see it.
Don't mess around with FTP ever again. This is the simplest way to send someone large files for free up to 100 megs at a shot. If you need to send larger files it's very cheap to upgrade. There's nothing worse than your clients logging into your ftp and being able to sniff around all your other client files. Get professional and download this baby today. Easy and secure… this is the way.
It's a good app, but I do not understand how such a program for Android and, in time to add files to the recipients, there is no link with the Notebook of OS X. Sad surprise.
