A great source of information on what is going on in science.
Great app! Easy to understand and use! David Lorea Farrington
I have to admit the pictures on the description page are beautiful. But then I find the horrible start page with a clickable "view news" in the center. The app is more like a RSS reader which fetches articles from probably NASA's website, so why couldn't I read those articles directly from where they are from? Hope it could be redesigned specially for mobile devices — add some images on the start page, refresh them automatically, and PLEASE don't make the article look like just plain text.
As others have remarked, the ads are annoying and there's no way to get rid of them (meaning there's no paid version of this app). There are few images, and the news feed is very selective and limited (nothing about Curiosity?!). Then again, this is not a NASA app, so don't hold NASA responsible for it - just bypass it and go for the real thing - NASA app for Android and app for Mobile are high quality, bursting with features and conveniences, and free (and without ads).
I'd gladly pay 99 cents to get rid of the ads!!! I noticed in the app screenshots from the developer above that it doesn't show that it"s ad supported. I have NEVER bought anything from an in app ad and I never will.
