The one feature that this app completely lacks is a direct phone number to call about an order that has been placed. I ordered my dinner the other night - one small chicken pho - not only did this take an hour and a half to arrive at my door, but when I reached out to customer service asking where my food was - I never got a response that night. When my food finally came, I was in the other room when my husband answered the door to retrieve our food. I got my one chicken pho, but I also got someone else’s dinner that I did not order! The bite squad guy had already left when I discovered my order was wrong and I still hadn’t received a response from customer service nearly an hour ago when I first reached out. They some how mixed up the orders and the poor people who ordered their food never received their dinner since it ended up with me.... I didn’t hear back from customer service until THE NEXT DAY via email. Can you imagine the lack of timing that a company can provide to their customers? Unbelievable. If you want to improve this app.... please add the function to CALL customer service directly or CALL the bite squad delivery person directly. Cut out the whole Email process entirely, it’s useless when it comes to efficiency.

Much like the reviews for the actual BiteSquad app, our experience is pretty much the same. We have used them at least 20 times and the food is almost always late. That has been livable. However, today pushed me to delete the app after this review is posted! Ordered $70 worth of food from a reputable Mexican restaurant. After watching our projected delivery time go from 8:03pm to 8:30 pm, we eventual received our food around 8:43pm. This wouldn’t have been so bad had they not left out $25 worth of our food! Contacted support via the website and immediately got a response asking if I wanted them to deliver the missing food. Considering this would do nothing more than make half of us eat while the other half just sat and waited for another hour-hour and a half, we decided to all go out and eat instead. $75 and 2 hours of our lives wasted. BTW... I received an immediate response to my first email, but have yet to receive any further correspondence in the 3 hours since I replied with a very displeased message. I can only assume that they knew they had lost a customer, so they just took our money and severed ties. At least that’s how it looks to us. Their service in SWFL is atrocious and I would suggest avoiding their service altogether. Hopefully it is better in other parts of the country. I never had these problems with Grub Cab.
Apparently adding Bite Squad allows one to order pick up as well as delivery. So make sure you change it to delivery!! Also, before I could contact a phone number if there was an issue. Now it's submission through the app. But, I received a quick response. So I am happy with that. I don't see an area to add a tip, but I had to manually have it changed. It might be there. I generally liked this because I only had to say hello and grab my food and not make small talk. I've been using Grub Cab for about 4 years now. Wish they were in Naples!
After being a customer for years and years and using it weekly the app says that it cannot deliver to my area.... this app is officially broke
