MacHash News for Android

The app has trouble connecting to the servers. Happens often- “connection error Unable to reach MacHash at this time”

This has been going on too long. It always runs in the background and it drains my battery. I’m done. Time to stick with  news.

ahhh so stupid it doesn’t scroll like everything else. it always passes the arrival so show you the same garbage adds at the bottom of the screen. also read the 5 star reviews they all say this app is garbage. how much are you paying to stay on top? this app was great before they started to sell so much add space and sell your info. i would gladly pay for a Ad free version!

Since MacHash was purchased by Glasswave the updates have gone downhill. The latest version 7.2.1 is practically unusable with so many intrusive ads and article previews of a sentence or two. Makes me sad that such a good app is now gone.

The newest version has all kinds of ads for paid premium subscriptions. On top of that the ability to quickly swipe through the articles appears to be gone. This was one of the best features of the app. You use to be able to but now the app takes you to a web version of the article. In order to view the next article you have to exit the browser and then go back to the list of articles and then select the next article you want to view. The user experience is much more cumbersome than it used to be unfortunately.
