Smile Alarm ~ 10 Games for Android

I absolutely love this app! It has been my saving grace for 3+ years but I just upgraded to an Android SE and it no longer works. Every time I go to the Lock Screen the app closes to the sound and games don’t go off like they should. I’ll be using my old phone so I can keep using this alarm but I hope it gets fixed!!

I’ve been (trying) using this alarm for a week and have had it set for 7:30 every day. It hasn’t gone off at 7:30 once. It keeps going off at random times like today when it went off at 9:48?! Doesn’t work, don’t sate your time.

* To the developers- I hope you see this review. I’m sure I’m not the only one still here and that many consider this the holy grail of alarms. We’re with you! Thank you for developing and maintaining this app. You’re saving lives and careers!!!! * I came to write a review and was pleasantly surprised when I realized I had already written one... 8 years ago! At almost 30 with a life totally unlike the one I was living at 22 when I was in college, it’s just been harder to be motivated to get out of bed. I work from home now as a web developer and could easily slip out of bed 5 minutes before needing to clock in. HOWEVER- this ability to snooze as late as possible has made it IMPOSSIBLE to work on my own personal development. As much as my internal clock would love to have me waking up at 10am, I’m a lark at heart- I get a lot done if I’m up before the sun. I’ve been trying to find the right solution for getting out of bed early to no avail until I asked myself last night, “how did I do it before?” I was happy to remember this app. Set the alarm to go off to “mad cow” which is my go-to and wham! It’s 6am and I am UP. All that to say, I love this app. It holds a special place in my heart! The only thing I noticed is that if I locked the phone while the alarm was going off it would just stop, even with the nag feature on. If that could be fixed I’d be back at five stars!

This app is amazing, especially the games to challenge your battle with sleepy-ness. And the quotes to have you motivated, but the alarm sound to wake up doesn’t wake me up like I expected, it vibrates periodically until I open the app & then hear the alarm.

This app is AMAZING if you need to wake up! I’ve only been using this app for a week and I am a deep(ish) sleeper the fact that this wakes me up is amazing. So I recommend this app to anyone!
