I have at least six “recording apps” on my Android 8, but it’s RecordPad that I always open when I’m in the field and realize I need to capture some sounds. It’s the fastest app — least delay between opening to actually recording

Sadly, it doesn't measure up

I had hoped for easy to use tool for dictation and for making short audio clips, but it is in my opinion hard to use and still has many bugs. Maybe the developer gave up since they have not provided any updates in over a year.

I just wasted $3!!! Try to save yours.

Just bought the upgrade to be able to record different file file types only to find out that it only records ip to 5 minutes of audio and it was asking me to cough up another $3 to get rid of that limitation. I wish the most terrible karma to the creators of this junk.

Update needs some work

Loved this app, but the update is really buggy. App crashes, audio gets cut off at the end. Please rework this.
