Don’t even waste your time. The app is trash. New owners destroyed the app. Kik “live” killed it. Bots killed it. The app is dead, don’t waste your time
I really rely on this app to connect with all of the friends that I’ve made. But it’s just going downhill so fast. I don’t care for the live feeds and I should be able to opt out of it. The ads are getting ridiculous. And it seems like every update brings more problems than good. I really really really really really wish you would do better Kik. Now I have to actually open chats to see all the bots show me those disgusting pictures. Do better. Ridiculous.
Would be a great app for chatting and groups if it weren’t for all the spam bots and the stupid live streams that for some reason are popping up at the top of my chat list. Nothing more frustrating that trying to click on the top chat and having it slide down as you are tapping on it and instead ending up watching some stupid live stream of someone I don’t care to watch. If I could have rated it zero stars I would have.
The latest update seems less smooth than the previous version. For example, whenever I get a notification, I’m taken back to my chat list, but when I try to click on the person who sent me a message, the app will send me to a live stream instead. It also ends up saving two copies of any photos you take using the camera function in kik, and, it doesn’t notify you if a photo your friend sent you was not received properly. Finally, it needs to be able to send audio files to friends in a future version. Once these major bugs are worked out, I’ll give it a better rating
