Hasn’t worked properly or fully for months in end. Seems to get worse and worse with each passing day and week. Slow loading when it does work, forums won’t load, Twitter links take forever to open - then won’t close, currently all links rarely work and open, just issue after issue. As soon as one starts working something else quits working.
Tapatalk used to be my go to app for reading forums, but over the years it’s gotten worse and worse to the point where the app rarely works now and when it does major features don’t work properly. A current list of broken things in the app: 1. Notifications frequently stop working for weeks at a time. 2. When they do work, notifications come in for threads that haven’t had a post in decades (yes over 10 years). 3. Twitter links don’t work. 4. App changes all links to redirect through a third party server which breaks things like YouTube. 5. App tracks you through said links even if you turn off app tracking. 6. Support is horrible, even if you pay for it.
As the title says
Developer can’t even write an app that can distinguish a current post from a 10 year old post. This app desperately needs competition
This app is a little shady in how you can just be scrolling along reading and it will spontaneously open up a web browser or the App Store to advertise something to you. Sketchy. I only use it because it’s the only game in town for a few forums I like.
