I love having the Complete Works in my pocket!! There’s always occasion to look up a quote or figure out another meaning of a word or phrase and this app is the ultimate tool for that. The glossary is fantastic. The short list of facts at the beginning of the play is great subject matter for discussion or further exploration. And their customer support is excellent too if you ever have an issue. All so helpful to my work as a teacher and director! Thanks so much!!
You will be hard pressed to think of anything you want to know about Shakespeare that isn’t included in this app. The store of knowledge is almost unfathomable. This will replace the 6-inch thick Riverside Shakespeare book that I have carried with me since college. Teachers, students, and theater fans will find a rich store of historical facts, analysis of scripts, and additional sources to pursue. But my favorite feature of all? Waking up to a new Shakespeare quote every morning.
In the search results screen, you can’t zoom in, and the words are in a font smaller than a used-car contract.
Love this app. New quote widget looks great. But it’s not working - been the same quote for days.
I WAS enjoying this until the most recent update. Now whenever I highlight a word to look up, an annoying options bar hovers over it and I can’t get rid of it. It keeps trying to make me buy. Lexicon add-on that a I don’t want. Why did the creators have to screw this up??
