Allstate is the insurance that's partnered with Walmart and I usually get my tvs, Google products and anything over $100 protected. Little cost but gives me peace of mind In the long run. They have a list for you to do in order to get your item warrantied and once it's complete, they give you a Walmart gift card. I prefer to get the same item shipped to me but gift card is useful in case the item is discounted or something . I recommend square trade and the app easily tracks all your "insured" items in one app
I use SquareTrade for all my devices. Fortunately, I haven’t had to file a claim. But their app is absolutely terrible. Get a couple new phones and see how impossible it is to delete the old devices and add the new ones-upload the receipts. You would think that in 2022, someone could develop an app that actually had working functions.
Terrible experience/customer service! Issues from start to current state of claim (still as yet unfinished..): Significant issues with phone lines/service making conversation with cust. service reps impossible on multiple, separate occasions. Extreme static/buzzing and substantial delays in audio from separate phones in different counties. This was a ST issue, not my phone provider. The reps refused to attempt any mitigation of those issues and were rude about it to add insult to injury. Repetitively requesting information already in possession by Square Trade was also inexplicable and pointlessly delayed the claim being accepted/processed. Speaking of which, I requested a copy of *my* original receipt (which ST requires a copy of during initial purchase of the protection policy) and even that has been refused on multiple occasions (including by a “supervisor”). Lastly, that same “supervisor” I spoke with was very resistant to explain the potential resolution options of the policy. When I requested he elaborate on the possibility on the need of a replacement television he begrudgingly exclaimed, “yeah, I guess”. Unbelievable response! There were several other similar moments during the call that made this process and purchase of this policy seem like a waste of my time and money. I paid for this?!? I will be looking at alternative providers the next time I need a similar insurance policy. With the claim still in the repair stage, I can only wait and see what future problems will arise in this awful process.
I have a plan with them and they still won’t fix my Mobile screen totally b.s! and every time I call customer service they told me that they going to send me an email with the info to send in my device (It’s been a month an 1 week now). ZerO stars for SquareTrade!
I was trying to access to the my account and after I entered my email and password, I was requested a code which was supposed to be sent to my email account. Well, after waiting for 30 minutes, I don’t have email with code, I can’t access to my account even from the browser. You need to work on authentication and make sure that it’s done right and tested.
