Spend $5 to be frustrated daily

This program seems like a great idea, but the execution is awful. All I need is a simple program to control VLC on my Android. Play, pause, volume control, search. The issue? The app constantly struggles to connect with my computer. It can take 1-2 minutes for it just to find my previously saved computer. Once it does it often loses contact with my Android repeatedly, meaning no controls. Soooooooo frustrating!
