Be sure you understand how this works before spending the 75 annual fee to have the “advanced options” that will “remove your data”. Once it scans it directs you to the major data brokers where you submit “opt out” forms. When it comes to scanning your email to protect your data , the app sends emails on your behalf. You then receive auto generated messages, multiple stating the mailbox cannot be found, or requiring additional verification directly. In my experience not worth the hassle as it just generates voluminous messages without producing the desired results.
After running the scan last night, today I’ve received over 100 ghost phone calls I do not suggest running it. - Never once did i have these calls. Within 2 hours after running your scan I’ve had hundreds of ghost calls, exactly what you claim to stop but I didn’t today and now it’s everyday.
It searched the web with my name, loc, email and stuff… came back with 85 risks. Problem is none of them were me except for one. Even that one barely had any info. If you have a common name like me, don’t bother using it. It thinks all these people with the same name all over the country is me and asks me whether I want to pay money to remove them all. Why would I pay money to remove info for other people with the same name? It says so much about this app, it really doesn’t know the difference and just wants to scare people to get money.
I can’t use this app. I tried typing in my city name and it couldn’t find a match so would not let me proceed. If I remove part of my town’s name then it will go on but that isn’t the correct name. I was really wanting to try this app.
So I find out all of my information is out there then I have to pay to remove it? I don’t recall that in the description.
