I originally I got the smaller 560 and chose to change to the 800 initially having difficulties more with our Wi-Fi. After the initial getting used to a different way of cooking it is by far the best steaks in the world once you do a slow smoke. Fish has been superb. So glad I did not get pellet grill. Significantly better taste using any combination of charcoal and wood. Typically I’m using 50% charcoal and 50% different types of wood. I love that I can set the temperature, go inside and not be in the hot summer Florida weather, can watch television and still change the temperature of the grill and get readings on all thermometers. The thermometers are accurate and excellent. In addition, I have also purchased other stainless steel products that are compatible and work with the grill.
The app disconnects from the grill regularly. The temp and timer features are temperamental, it might or might not work. Any attempt to look at recipes results in the app crashing and closing.
I cannot update temperature or time using the app. App crashes if you try going to recipes. Worked fine last month when I got the grille. Grille works fine, app doesn’t
App crashes every time I try and open recipes. Hoping for an update soon with a fix.
Constantly loses contact with the grill. Have to delete girl and add grill again each use. App crashes when looking at recipes.
