I have always found it difficult to navigate through COtrip.org so I thought I’d give this app a shot. I keeps freezing so I have to shut down and start over. I will try reloading it but so far I am not impressed.
The app started out well but in the past week it won’t allow you to close any activity, click on an alert, camera or warning ad it will pop up but you can’t close it. Locks the app into that action. Android 13. iOS 16.1.2
No trucker info Chain laws? CMV closures? Can’t find this info. Website stinks now
I love this app! I’ve always been a fan of the COTrip website and was very excited when an app was made. I like that I can input my route and see all of the cameras and road conditions along the way. The latest update included showing where crews are currently plowing. Bonus points for the fun plow names. As someone who travels quite a bit for work, I always use this app to check road conditions prior to leaving. Well done!
Since COtrip switchs every year or so, this is the latest disappointment. The information is rarely current and the best way to learn when a Highway is closed, is to be stuck in traffic after reading roads are clear on the app. Also, while it great to read about random Highways, why not emphasize the busiest and most traveled roads? Overall very misleading and provides false assurances.
