Darkness and Flame 1 for Android

I’ve been playing hidden mystery adventure games for years. This one is the most challenging yet beautiful one I’ve ever played. The background music is wonderful and soothing, and there’s an actual story to it. I never have to use hints because most of these games are exactly the same, but I’ve been stuck/lost at least 5 times and have had to use a hint, which speaks to the challenge of the game. I can also typically finish a game in a few hours, I’ve been playing this off and on for 3 days. I’ll definitely play another from this developer. Well done.

This is a great point and click puzzle game but I am begging you to change your settings so that I can listen to music/audiobooks while I play the game. The app is always overriding any other audio I have going, so I have to just quietly be in the game and I hate looping audio.

Let’s just say now days you’re hardly can find any games that actually do what it’s says. Although this game is legit! I loved it! It have the perfect combination of puzzles, mystery, adventure, and anything you can think of. The graphics are spot on. The creator deserves an award in my opinion. I hope you download it and give it a try. Although I do ask the creator try to make the hints you maybe timed instead of having to pay real money. I love the five free hints in the beginning, but some of us are to slow!😂

I'm on the second installment of Lost Lands now. These games have helped me get through a lot of boredom the last few days. They are fun, if a bit frustrating at times because not all of the solutions are necessarily logical conclusions. After a while, you get used to the game logic and it gets easier to know what the game probably wants you to do with the items. But the mini-games can be frustrating regardless, especially when your only option after an error is to restart the whole puzzle. My only real critique is that the "back" button should be a little bit farther out from center, as it covers parts of the mini-games/other stuff that makes it really easy to lose your progress (when playing on a phone), because sometimes the pieces are right behind it/next to it. I know these games probably won't get a big update like that, just keep that in mind if you're gonna play. That said, I gave this game five stars for a reason. It's fun, there is a truly exceptional amount of content for a free game, and the art and story are interesting. D&F packs a lot of world-building into a small game without making you read for hours which was refreshing. The amount of puzzles/mini-games is wild compared to other free puzzle/escape-the-room type games. For a point & click, the Darkness & Flames games are some of the best I've played.
