Why do I have to re-enter my school and user information every time I open the app it’s so tedious and annoying
Gradescope itself is great, but the app is so annoying to use. It doesn’t keep you signed in so I have to sign in every single time. And on the Mobile app, it looks like it hasn’t been adapted for iPadOS. Developers PLEASE fix these issues. With so many college students using Gradescope these need to be changed.
They removed the ability to submit photos through the website on your phone in order to encourage people to use the app. That’s already horrible, but the app is garbage too.
This app could be so useful, and in many ways (in principle), it should be. Being able to scan and directly upload to Gradescope is a huge win. Unfortunately, the app suffers from so many buggy issues and flawed design choices. Please fix these: - You have to log in every time you open the app. Every. Single. Time. - Attempting to change or add to your submission COMPLETELY removes your scans. - Scanning is relatively buggy - You cannot view your actual Gradescope submissions in the app after submitting!! This is essential to Gradescope itself! - You can’t see how you assigned numbers to questions in the app in an assignment. It displays all the numbers in one long line and, once again, requires you to use your browser to view. Overall, this app is just above the bare minimum. Please, fix the above issues and the app will actually be one of the most helpful/useful apps for assignment submission.
The app works as intended for uploading documents but I wish the devs would either steal someone else’s pdf scan api or improve their own, because scanning documents to submit on this app takes at least 5 tries almost every time to get writing to be not burnt out but also not bleached off.
